I usually play high-end whistles though, cheap whistles have their charm. The tunes are Connaughtman’s Rambles (Jig),Whelan’s (Jig),Drunken Landlady (Reel),Banshee (Reel)
This tune is said to be composed by Williamson Blyth, an Edinburgh fiddler and violin maker. I also learned from the recording of Natalie MacMaster. It’s range is a bit too wade for the Irish flute and I enjoyed it much.
I learned this nice jig from the recording of Natalie MacMaster from Cape Breton. The B part contains a charming cromatic notes. played on the D Flute
Scottish Pipe tune which I got from a recording of The Deaf Shepherd. Here I play low D whiste by Colin Goldie.
Also a test recording on the piccolo.
Tunes are 5 polkas fromBritain Isles.
Kemp’s jig(England) / New Year’s eve (Weles) / Polka (Scotland) / Egan’s (Ireland) / Ruffy Tuffy (England)
