The Forth Bridge Reel (Scottish / Cape Breton)

This tune is said to be composed by Williamson Blyth, an Edinburgh fiddler and violin maker. I also learned from the recording of Natalie MacMaster. It’s range is a bit too wade for the Irish flute and I enjoyed it much.

Drummond Castle (Scottish Jig )～Devil in the Kitchen ( Strathpey )～Margaret ( Scottish Reel ) スコットランドの色々なリズムを演奏してみます。スコットランド音楽とアイルランド音楽は多くの共通点がありますが、 スコットランドでは逆付点（タター）のリズムが特徴で、ジグでも使われることがあります。対して、アイルランドのジグは 妙ななまりがあり、それが独特のスウィング感を生むようです。Ceilidhとはダンス夜会のことで、生演奏で踊ります。 実際のケーリーではこのように異なるリズムを組み合わせて演奏することはありません。
